Final Year Project
TELL ME WHY
How can sweet and simple words create such strife within our relationships? Every day we talk, converse and share our thoughts. Inspired by the art of miscommunication, this collection speaks about the cruciality of being real with each other - having proper communication. Diving into the human brain and its structure, this collection translates how our brain and communication go hand in hand.
Presently, our form of communication keeps altering. In our everyday life, we realise that having proper communication with each other is something that truly takes heart. Yet, it is something that we genuinely all need.

Apparel Design Project
WE'RE ALL MAD HERE
In this project, I mainly took inspiration from the movie franchise "Alice in Wonderland". Here is my take on how I have incorporated my inspiration into my designs.

Sustainability Project
ROUND n' ROUND THE DOPAMINE LOOP
In this project, we were tasked to repurpose and reuse items & objects and transform them into a dress. With the main motive of being sustainable, I researched and did experiments on how to transform old items and give them new life.

My concept is based on the brain activity of the "Dopamine loop". Social media distorts our identity in subtle ways. The number of likes, shares and followers - these numbers have deeply affected us. Because of this, it has led people to experience an effect known as the ‘reward molecule;. Eventually, this effect leads to a feel-good loop or a dopamine loop in our brains. The more we give in to social validation, the more we can get stuck in this loop. In the initial stages it may go unnoticed, however as time progress, it becomes detrimental to our own identity and reality. This concept covers the movement of dopamine in the brain to our inner thoughts and eventually effecting our actions and lifetstyle.
